Aims & Objectives
The aims and objectives of the Basic Fire Awareness course is to equip all attendees with the required skills to understand the causes of fire and the importance of fire risk assessment. The course will also cover the recognition and recommended use for fire fighting equipment, the course will emphasise the importance of personal safety throughout. This course complies with the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997.

Course Assessment
This course is subject to ongoing assessment by the Instructor throughout the course. There is no final assessment. The Instructor observes attendees practice sessions as the training progresses to ensure the required level of understanding.
Course Certification
All successful candidates will be awarded a certificate which will be valid for three years.

Fire Marshal/Warden
Who should attend?
Anyone with responsibility for assisting with emergency evacuation arrangements in their workplace, including fire co-ordinators, fire wardens/marshals, supervisors/managers with fire safety responsibilities or health and safety representatives from any type of organisation.
This 3 hour Fire Marshal Fire Safety training course fully meets The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order. This course provides delegates with a theoretical and practical understanding of the typical functions of a fire warden or fire marshal within a workplace. Additionally, this course will give delegates an understanding of how fires start and propagate within buildings and the tools to assist with the development and implementation of emergency evacuation arrangements.
Our fire safety trainer is a professionally qualified ex Deputy Chief Fire Officer with a wealth of fire fighting and fire safety experience. This is absolutely invaluable when advising organisations on compliance issues, preparing staff for discussions with the local fire brigade and to add realism to all our fire safety courses.

Managing Fire Safety & Fire Risk Assessment
This course has been designed specifically for those personnel who require a more detailed understanding of the legal requirements surrounding fire safety in the workplace including the new, Fire Safety Regulatory Reform Order 2006.
It is suitable for Business Owners, Managers and other Supervisory personnel.
To provide participants with an understanding of the legal requirements surrounding fire safety in the workplace with particular emphasis placed on the conducting of fire risk assessments as required by the Fire Regulatory Reform Order, 2006.
Cost of Training - £50 per person (Group discount available) for the complete training package including certificate and all training aids for use throughout the course.
All courses are priced per person
On successful completion of a course all delegates will receive a valid Certificate.
Fire Awareness & Extinguisher Training
Course: Fire Awareness & Extinguisher Training.
Who Should Attend: The law requires all employed personnel to have adequate fire safety training.
Location: On your premises

Instructor Details: All of our instructors have at least 10 years service in one of the UK Fire Services.

This course has been designed to give personnel the necessary information, knowledge and training for them to be competent in basic fire safety.

Aims & Objectives
The aims and objectives of the HSE (Health & Safety Executive) First Aid at Work course are to enable individuals designated as the First Aider at work to carry out appropriate first aid in an emergency situation. Following the course the attendees will be able to manage a casualty who is injured at work, or suffers from a serious illness, until the emergency services arrive. Each on site course is tailored around your workplace where possible.
General Information
Maximum of 12 attendees per Instructor
Cost of Training - £160 per person (Group discounts available) for the complete training package including comprehensive training manual, certificate and all training aids for use throughout the course.
Course Duration
24 Hours (4 Days)
This can be broken down into blocks of various hours to suit your requirements. Training must be completed over a maximum of six weeks.

Course Assessment
All attendees are required to undertake an assessment on the final day of the course; both practical and theory aspects will be assessed. The assessments are carried out by two external assessors who have not been involved in the teaching of the course. Our assessors are trained to carry out the assessments in a low stress environment and to instil confidence into all attendees.
Course Certification
All successful attendees will be awarded a certificate approved by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), this certificate is valid for three years.
